Important: The loosely rolled giclees will be tube mailed and must be flattened for framing upon arrival.

About Giclees:

Giclee (zhee-klay) (accent on the latter 'e') connotes an elevation in printmaking technology where the images are generated from high resolution digital scans and then printed with archival quality onto canvas providing superior color accuracy. The advantages of giclee prints are that the archived files will not deteriorate in quality as negatives and film inherently do. Another tremendous advantage of giclee printing is that digital images can be reproduced onto various media giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client and siuation.

The quality of the Giclee print rivals the traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in many galleries and museums including MOMA Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Each one of my Limited Edition Giclees will be personally signed and numbered by the artist (in this case, me, Adrienne King) with an edition notation which indicates how many of any one image will be produced, in any size within the edition. This limitation ensures the value of the print will be protected. I will inspect every piece that goes out from my studio to make sure the look and feel of the giclee carry the essence of the original.
